Provisional (Temporary) Crowns

This patient had severe wear on her back teeth and bone loss on her front teeth. I treatment planned an implant bridge to replace her failing front three teeth, and onlays and crowns to restore her bite and the wear on her back teeth. To create the desired esthetics, I sculpted the desired contours on a model of the patient’s teeth, which my lab scanned to fabricate the milled Provisional which became a template for the final crowns. The patient was thrilled with her new smile!

Provisional (Temporary) Crowns: Welcome

This patient’s original implant crowns looked very short and she was unhappy with their appearance. I worked with a periodontist to replace the implants and then fabricated provisional (temporary) implant crowns to provide a more natural and esthetic appearance. The patient loved the provisional crowns which became a blueprint for the permanent crowns.

Due to periodontal disease this patient lost her upper teeth and had 6 implants placed. I fabricated a provisional implant bridge to test out and refine the esthetics and function prior to fabricating the final implant bridge. When the patient saw her provisional prosthesis she exclaimed “I got my smile back!”

This patient was born missing many of his permanent teeth. After implants were placed I fabricated a Provisional implant bridge to restore his function and esthetics, and serve as a template for the final prosthesis. He was thrilled with his new smile.
